This supplement from PharmaHorse consists of various minerals. The electrolytes in this supplement are made up of the minerals sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, and magnesium. Because a horse sweats a lot during sport or exertion, many salts – also known as minerals – are lost through perspiration. Potassium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and supports healthy muscles. Calcium helps to release energy from food and supports normal muscle function. Magnesium is beneficial for the muscles and helps maintain a proper electrolyte balance.

Administration

Pony: 1 measuring scoop per day

Horse: 2 measuring scoops per day

One measuring scoop is approximately 15 grams and is included. You can mix the powder with water or feed.

Note: Do not confuse PharmaHorse Electrolytes with a salt lick. PharmaHorse Electrolytes contains essential minerals (salts). While a salt lick also contains salts, it does not provide electrolytes.

Composition

Per kg: 309 g Sodium Chloride, 50 g Sodium Citrate, 268 g Potassium Chloride, 18 g Magnesium Sulphate, 200 g Calcium Carbonate, 131 g Glycine, 24 g Vitamin C. All minerals are 100% pure.
