My 22-year-old gelding with borderline PPID responds very well to this. His levels remain nicely stable below the point where he would need medication.

Great feed for overweight ponies and hoof problemsBy Leonie, Monday 7 September 2026Phytonics Hypo Balance - 250 g
This feed has helped both of my ponies with their hooves! Especially my EMS and laminitis pony! But also the older pony that’s more prone to Cushing’s! I’ve bought it several times now and wouldn’t want to be without it!

Very satisfiedBy Greet, Tuesday 10 January 2023Phytonics Hypo Balance - 250 g
For the past 5 years, my now 18-year-old mare has had digestive problems. Lots of watery manure and often bloated. We tried several feeds, but the issues remained. In September 2021, she had a twist in her intestines and underwent surgery. She recovered well but continued to have symptoms. After consulting with Hollands Kroon, she was put on gastro-nutrition, which helped. About 6 months ago, she became lethargic again, and suddenly I noticed muscle loss along her topline, even though she was still fully working. I suspected Cushing’s, but blood tests ruled it out. I started giving her Hypo Balance anyway, and all symptoms disappeared. She no longer has watery manure, the manure is firm, her muscles are coming back, she drinks and urinates less, and her coat is becoming smoother again. I am so happy with this!!!

GoodBy P.d.G., Saturday 22 May 2021Phytonics Hypo Balance - 250 g
Delivered quickly and my horse seems to be doing well on it so far. However, the effect can only be better assessed after longer use. I have only been using it for a few weeks now.
