Phytonics Joint Comp

Joint Comp of Phytonics helps lubricate joints and supports the maintenance of healthy cartilage in the joints. Phytonics Joint Comp is a food supplement containing glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate for the formation of the proteoglycans. The proteoglycans form together with water, cartilage cells, articular cartilage and collagen. Cartilage acts as a cushion between the two parts of the joint. The cetyl myristoleate acts as a lubricant. The bones and the connective tissue are reinforced and the muscle tension is reduced.

Suitable for young animals

Phytonics Joint Comp does not contain calcium, as your pet will get sufficient calcium from its food. An excess of calcium in the body increases the excretion of magnesium, causing a number of negative health conditions. Because Phytonics Joint Comp does not contain calcium, it is suitable for young animals.

Dosage

Unless prescribed otherwise by a veterinarian: Twice daily:

Dog/Cat

• < 10 kg, ¼ scoop.
• 10 - 25 kg, ½ scoop.
• > 25 kg, ¾ scoop.

1 scoop contains about 4 grams.

Administration

Can be mixed with food. Moisten the food/powder when mixing with dry food so that it is not blown out of the bowl. Always consult your veterinarian before administering to pregnant or lactating animals.

Please note:

At the start of the treatment, some animals may have a short-term deterioration of symptoms or other adverse reaction. In the event that the symptoms worsen considerably, you can halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up slowly.

Composition per 4 g

Frankincense tree (Boswellia serrata), white willow (Salix alba), blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum), goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea), 527 mg methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), 455 mg glucosamine (as -sulfate 2KCl), 219 mg chondroitin (as -sulfate), 218 mg magnesium (as -citrate), Himalayan salt.

Crude protein 8.5 %, crude fat 4.0 %, crude fibre 6.43 %, crude ash 19.55 %, sodium 1.06 %.

Vitamins and provitamins: 376 mg vitamin C, 34 mg vitamin B3 (3a315). Minerals and trace elements: 246 mg manganese (3b503), 8.4 µg copper (3b405). Amino acids: 52.65 mg L-cysteine.
