Phytonics Strezz

Phytonics Strezz reduces feelings of stress and anxiety following an emotional or physical trauma such as an operation or accident, without making the animal drowsy. The product contains various ingredients that can relax your pet in order to reduce the (acute) anxiety or stress.

Key features of each ingredient

• Dulcamara (Bittersweet) helps reduce excessive urination due to cold and soothes a subconscious feeling of nervousness. Supports the reduction of muscle tension.
• Lycopodium clavatum (Wolf's foot clubmoss) can be used to reduce problems with the airways due to emotional distress.
• Saffron: soothes cramps and strains and promotes concentration.
• Hypericum perforatum (St. John's Wort) is calming and relaxing.
• Arnica montana (Arnica): stimulates the reabsorption of bruising causing a reduction in swellings/bumps and helps reduce cramping. Also helps with shock and exhaustion.
• Carbo vegetabilis (Charcoal) is used to reduce anxiety and associated gastrointestinal disorders. Supports the heart circulation. Also cleanses the body.
• Sodium muriaticum: a dilution is used during feelings of sadness and disappointment.
• Zincum Metallicum is used to stimulate the peripheral and central nervous system and for sensitive nerves.
• Montmorillonite: catalyses and reinforces the phytotherapeutic ingredients.

Dosage

Unless prescribed otherwise by a veterinarian: In chronic cases, twice daily (20 drops = 1 ml):

• Dog: 5-10 drops
• Cat: 2-5 drops
• Horse: 10-15 drops

Shake well before use.

Administration

You can administer the product directly into the mouth using a plastic syringe, diluted with a little drop of water if necessary. The product works better on an empty stomach, so we do not recommend giving it with a meal. If your pet does not like the product, the drops can be soaked into a small treat.

Treatment duration

In acute situations, the treatment duration is relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. When you notice an improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. During long periods of discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen.

Please note:

At the start of the treatment, some animals may have a short-term deterioration of symptoms or other adverse reaction. In the event that the symptoms worsen considerably, you can halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up slowly.

Bittersweet, Wolf's foot clubmoss, St. John's Wort, Arnica, Walnut, Charcoal, Sodium muriaticum, Zincum Metallicum, Bentonite-Montmorillonite, alcohol 33%.
