PhytoTreat Psyllium is a natural complementary animal feed for dogs, cats, and horses, made from organic psyllium husk fibres. These soluble fibres contribute to a healthy digestive function and support regular bowel movements. Moreover, the fibres can provide a feeling of fullness and contribute to a balanced digestion. Depending on moisture absorption, psyllium can promote intestinal passage in different ways: lightly moistened when added to food, it helps to thicken the stool, while combined with water or moist food, it can contribute to a softer stool. Thus, the product can be used for both loose and firm stools.

Use and Dosage

Spread over the food with some extra moisture. For loose stools, moisten only slightly. Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless advised by a veterinarian or therapist. The included measuring scoop of 5 ml contains approximately 2 grams.

The duration of treatment varies. In acute situations, the treatment can last from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, it is advisable to continue administering this product for a few more days. In cases of chronic conditions, it may take 1 to 3 weeks before effects are noticeable. It can be given indefinitely.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15–25 °C), dry and out of the sun. Keep out of reach of children.
