    Porus One

Support your cat’s kidneys with Porus One. Cats naturally produce toxins every day, some of which can be harmful to the kidneys. These toxin precursors (known as uraemic toxins) form in the gut during the digestion of proteins. When absorbed from the intestines, these toxins travel via the liver to the kidneys. They are normally excreted in the urine. However, if this process is disrupted, toxins can accumulate in the bloodstream. This build-up can cause direct damage to the organs and kidneys. Porus One acts like a kind of vacuum, binding the precursors of these toxins in the intestines. This allows them to be excreted in the faeces before they can enter the body.

    Key features

    • Supports kidney function
    • Prevents absorption of toxin precursors in the gut
    • Helps protect kidneys from toxin-related damage
    • Toxins are excreted via the faeces
    • Porus One consists of small, uniform black beads

    Suitable for

Cats (including those with kidney issues)

    Instructions for use

Give Porus One to your cat once daily. Mix the contents of the sachet with wet food to help it bind. Porus One is odourless and tasteless, so it is generally well accepted by cats. One pack of Porus One lasts for thirty days. If you are also giving medication, it is recommended to administer the medication at least 2 hours before giving Porus One.

    Bead size

The black beads measure between 0.1 – 0.3 mm in diameter

    Contents

    • 30 sticks of 500 mg
    • 6 x 30 sticks of 500 mg

  • I feel this product supports my two cats with renal disease
By Judith, Friday 11 September 2026
    Porus One - 3 x 30 Sticks

I give this to my cats who are in renal failure (one is around 20 years old, and the other one is a teenager (so well into the group of cats who would be likely to suffer from this disease). The older cat has half a sachet because he has other medication which could cause constipation issues, and in case Porous One could contribute to this, I do half a sachet per day. Its definitely a valuable addition on my animal medical shelf which I wouldn't be without.

  • Well tolerated and gladly taken

    Porus One - 3 x 30 Sticks

Our cat with kidney disease (15 years old) takes the powder easily along with the Add On Salmon. He waits for it punctually and tolerates it very well. So far, he has had no more problems.

    Porus One - 30 Sticks

It's the same as what my vet prescribed for my cat, but much cheaper!

  • A Good Solution
By Petra, Friday 28 August 2026
    Porus One - 2 x 30 Sticks

My cat (17 years old) has, among other issues, the onset of kidney problems. She won’t touch the kidney food. With the phosphate binder, she is doing well and doesn’t need to eat the "kidney mush."
