Contrary to the other reviews here, I really can't complain about the product. We got it from the local vet in winter 25/26 because my partner’s tomcat had a cold. Now my cat has a cold, so I bought the product again because it worked well for the tomcat. Mixed in tuna lick paste, the drops had the bowl cleaned in no time.

    Pulmo Alfa Syrup

    Pulmo Alfa cough syrup from Fendigo is a supplement based on botanical herbs. It supports the physiological defenses of the respiratory tract and is suitable for dogs and cats. Pulmo Alfa has a soothing and supportive effect. It contains natural aromatic substances for a great taste.

    Use

    Shake well before use. Administer the cough syrup together with the food or directly into the mouth according to the following dosage:

    Animal species Body weight Dosage

    Dog 10 - 20 kg 2 x daily 3 ml
    Dog > 20 kg 2 x daily 4 ml
    Cat - 1 x daily 2 ml

    For cats, the dose may be increased to 2 x daily if necessary. Keep the packaging between 15 and 25 degrees.

    Beet syrup, (Narrow plantain, watercress, Icelandic moss) 2%, liquorice root juice 0.5% (dried liquorice, Ifte) 0.1%. Additives per 1000 ml: lfte-extract 20 ml, Althaea tincture 10 ml.

    Analytical constituents

    Crude protein 0%, crude fibre 0%, crude fat 0.5%, crude ash 0.6%, moisture 86.6%.

    Pulmo Alfa Syrup - 100ml

    Bought this instead of the Bronchofort cough syrup because that’s no longer available, but they hate this one; it makes them gag and brings up mucus. I also don’t understand why this stuff has to be so sickly sweet and strong in flavour. (Yes, I’ve tasted it myself.)
