    Puur Respi Herbs

Puur Respi Herbs for horses and ponies is a special blend of herbs that can contribute to respiratory health in a natural way.

    Dosage and administration:

Unless prescribed otherwise by a veterinarian or therapist, use once daily:

    Recommended dosage
    Target animal Optimal dosage
    Horse 2 scoops
    Pony 11/2 scoops
    1 scoop approx. 71/2 grams

This product can be mixed with food. It is best to moisten the herbs so that they are not blown out of the trough.

    Treatment duration:

In acute situations, the treatment duration is relatively short. This may vary from 1 to 3 weeks. When you notice an improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. When you notice an improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, pay close attention to your pet's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be required. This product is safe to administer in a double dosage. When symptoms subside, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose. This product can be given indefinitely. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen.

This product can be used without difficulty in combination with other natural health products and conventional medicines.

    Please note:

    • During pregnancy and lactation, always consult with your veterinarian before use.
    • At the start of the treatment, some animals may have a short-term deterioration of symptoms or other adverse reaction to some of the dilutions or extracts. In the event that the symptoms worsen considerably, you can halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up slowly.
    • To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported.

    Further advice:

    • Prevent colds by making sure that you do not put a wet horse in the stable after riding. Walk it off for a long time (dry off the horse if necessary!) and adjust the thickness of the blanket to the horse, the condition of its coat and the temperature. If the blanket is too thin, the horse will need to use a lot of its energy to keep warm, and if it is too thick the horse will be wet with sweat. Make sure there are no draughts in the stable!
    • Keep the stable as free as possible from dust and ammonia. Regularly remove dust and cobwebs, including from the beams. Sprinkle the stable daily when the horse is not nearby, and remove urine stains and faeces daily. For horses with dust allergies, use flax or rubber mats instead of straw in the stable.
    • Give a horse with a cold or a coughing horse extra rest, preferably outdoors and otherwise in a well ventilated stable or an outdoor stable. Adjust training accordingly.
    • Fungal spores in hay pose a major threat to the development of an allergic reaction. Use only good quality hay. Soak the hay in water if necessary before it is fed to the horse. When it comes to respiratory diseases, plenty of fresh air is important and try to avoid the horse coming into contact with dust whenever possible.
