I assumed these Yakkas were made from yak milk. Unfortunately, I have to visit the optician again, as the description clearly states this chew stick is made from *cow milk*. Sadly, our Labrador Oreo doesn’t agree with it. His stools said it all ;) Also, the Churpi sticks aren’t nearly as hard as other original Yak sticks. My 11-month-old Labrador puppy devoured this XL variant in just 15 minutes. For a dog with a strong chewing need, I would look for something else. In short, disappointing for my dog, but perhaps the ultimate snack for your loyal four-legged friend.

Not a fanBy Mandy, Monday 9 February 2026Renske Chhurpi Dog Chew - M
My dog destroyed the Chhurpi chew stick in a very short time. This released hard pieces with sharp edges, which he swallowed. Despite supervision, this happened within seconds. The result was vomiting; the hard pieces do not digest. I found large, hard fragments in the vomit. This product is not suitable for our dog.

Disappointing QualityBy E., Monday 1 December 2025Renske Chhurpi Dog Chew - L
My dog really likes yak treats, and these too, but they are much less hard than I'm used to from other brands. My dog broke these into smaller pieces in no time (dangerous) and finished them quickly. Unfortunately, not recommended. I ordered two and the same happened with both, so it’s not a one-off.
