Rodicare Hairball - Liquid
RodiCare Hairball Liquid is a complementary feed for dwarf rabbits and guinea pigs. During grooming, these animals regularly swallow hair. Normally, this hair leaves the body via the faeces, but sometimes hair can build up in the gastrointestinal tract. Extra support may be desirable, especially during moulting or in long-haired animals. The liquid contains lactulose and psyllium fibres (psyllium husks), which absorb a lot of moisture. The psyllium fibres form a mucilaginous layer around the hair, supporting its natural removal. In addition, the formula contains, among other ingredients, fennel, chamomile and peppermint as a supplement for healthy digestion.

Note
- Do not use in the event of intestinal blockage
- Animals with blockage symptoms should always be examined by a veterinarian, as digestive problems can have serious consequences
- An excessively high dose can cause diarrhoea
Usage
Administer the liquid directly into the mouth twice daily. If necessary, the dosage can be increased or repeated in consultation with a veterinarian. Preventively, RodiCare Hairball can be given 2 to 3 days per week or once daily. Never place the animal on its back during administration, due to the risk of choking.
Dosage
- Dwarf rabbits: 1 to 2 ml twice daily, for 5 days.
- Guinea pigs: 1 ml twice daily, for 5 days.

Composition
Lactulose 9.7%, pineapple concentrate, refined vegetable oils (linseed oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, soya oil), psyllium fibres (psyllium husks) 1.9%, brewer's yeast, dried peppermint, dried chamomile leaves, celandine, fennel seed, dried blackberry leaf, gentian root, rhubarb root, caraway seed and turmeric.

Crude protein 1.4%, crude fat 7.1%, crude fibre 0%, crude ash 0.7%, moisture 79.2%.

Aromatic substances: milk thistle extract 3 ml, artichoke extract 2 ml, liquorice extract 2 ml.
Storage
Store in a dry place at room temperature. Use within 6 weeks of opening.
