Stands upright out of the water for my dog to see it easily

This is a fab toy / training aid, saw one being used in the sea and asked, what/ where as it is such a great design. The bottom is weighted, it floats upright, sticking out of the water making it easily visible. Also had the advantage of dogs not injesting so much water getting hold of it, and it has great contrast colours. Much more suited to medium to large dogs as it's a decent size, my labradors love it.

It is easy to throw, it drops into the water then sits upright, so less water ingestion on retrieve.

Our glorious lab, Lottie, loves it beyond all measure…… It’s what gets her up in the morning… in fact any time of day that ‘someone will take me down for a swim and throw the lighthouse is fine with me!’ ‘The string bit means anyone can throw it further out in the water, and I can swim to grab it… also it’s easier to catch than a ball, which means I don’t inadvertently swallow too much sea water!’ Ten points xx

This is my second, having bought the first one over 10 years ago for one of my border collies to use on the beach. It's brilliant, it floats above the waves making it visible for dogs unlike most other beach dog toys.
