Royal Canin Ageing 11+ Mousse - Cat Food

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The food was delivered well packaged. My cat is always very enthusiastic about the dry food version of this brand, so I had high expectations for this diet food. Unfortunately, he didn’t like it; he only eats a little and leaves the rest. If I store the leftover food in the fridge, he doesn’t want to eat it the next day. That’s why, once I open a package, I give him as much as possible to eat immediately and give the rest to my younger cat – she loves all the food she gets, so she ate this up too. We’ve been trying this food for almost two months now. My eldest cat is a picky eater with a sensitive stomach; at least he didn’t have to vomit from this food. Still, I won’t be buying it again.

It’s quite a dry, grainy mousse. My cats don’t like it. They don’t even recognise it as mousse... I think it’s due to the texture, lack of smell or flavour, and it’s too dry. They’ve become fussier with age.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My gentlemen really love these cans! I'm glad I got to try them because they suit them well. For my 16-year-old with little appetite, this was perfect. He still doesn’t finish a whole can, but he got further compared to other types. It’s not pâté, but a light mousse. It also looks appealing and apparently tastes good too. In short, a recommendation for cats with specific eating habits and for those of a certain age!
