    Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response

Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat is a dietary food enriched with specific fibres such as beet pulp, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and psyllium. It helps to restore the balance of intestinal flora. These fibres inhibit the growth of harmful, disease causing bacteria, and support the bowel function. The dietary fibre also promotes the passage of food through the intestines and contributes to the quality of stool. Animals who suffer from constipation are often prescribed a diet with a high fibre content.

    Recommended for

    • Acute and chronic constipation

    Key features

The combination of highly digestible protein, rice, special dietary fibre and fish oil ensures a balanced intestinal flora and optimal digestion. The fibre in Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat improves passage, so stools become softer without causing diarrhoea. It also aids in binding harmful substances in the large intestine, promoting the health of the large intestine through the inclusion of fatty acids, and improving mucous membrane condition in the large intestine. The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA found in Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat contribute to the health of the gastrointestinal tract. The specific combination of acting antioxidants (Vitamin C, vitamin E, taurine and lutein) work together to contribute to the neutralisation of free radicals.

    Not suitable for:

Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response is not suitable for gastrointestinal disorders causing constipation or full or partial intestinal obstruction.

  • Better bowel movements
By Marjolein, Monday 24 August 2026
Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat (FR 31) - 400g

These kibbles help our 16-year-old cat have smoother stools. He eats 15-25 grams per day, alongside other wet and dry food. After a while, he loses interest in these kibbles, which is why I only buy a small pack.

  • Still Eager for It
By Yokohama, Saturday 22 August 2026
Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat (FR 31) - 2kg

Since our cat has digestive problems, our vet recommended this food. I give it to her in the evening along with soaked psyllium husks. And the digestion works perfectly. The great thing is: even after 2 years, the cat still has a big appetite for it. Very good food!

  • Super good

Used for the first time and immediately resulted in good digestion, and she loves it.

Prevents my cat from getting constipated, so it can go more easily.

  • Great for sluggish digestion

Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response Cat (FR 31) - 400g

We use the dry food as a treat substitute. We have a cat with chronic sluggish digestion. The wet food from this range is also excellent.
