Health is nourished from within. The same goes for your cat. With the right nutrition, you lay the foundation for a healthy life.
But what exactly is the right nutrition for your cat? Good nutrition meets your cat’s unique dietary needs. Here are a few examples:
If you have a kitten, it’s still growing rapidly, and its digestive system, immune system, and brain are still developing. This stage requires very specific nutrients to optimally support these processes.
If your cat lives mostly indoors, she generally gets less exercise and benefits from food that’s slightly lower in calories and supports a healthy gut flora.
In older cats, the senses of smell and taste may begin to decline, and there is a higher risk of dental and bladder issues. A highly palatable (wet) food encourages her to eat enough more easily, while also providing extra moisture to help keep her urinary tract healthy.
That’s why it’s important to choose a wet food that matches your cat’s life stage, activity level, and any specific sensitivities to best support her health.
