After trying several different types of food from various brands for my 10-year-old Basset Hound, Winnie, this is the one that finally suits her. After living in England for a long time, Winnie and I returned to the Netherlands in August 2025. She soon developed ear and skin problems, as well as frequent loose stools. Countless visits to the vet followed. One of the most important steps we took was changing Winnie’s food. Her vet highly recommended Royal Canin Hypoallergenic! For Winnie, it’s been a real lifesaver: not only does she love the taste, but just as importantly, all her issues have gradually disappeared. A happy dog – and therefore, a happy owner.

Product Description
Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog
The protein source is hydrolysed isolated soy protein. Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog is hypoallergenic (rarely causes a hypersensitivity reaction) and is very easy to digest. The composition ensures minimal loss of fluids through the skin and enhances the protective function of the skin. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) have an anti-inflammatory effect. The combination of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and zeolite (a specific mineral) promotes a balanced intestinal flora and helps protect the intestinal wall. Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog is gluten and lactose free.
Also available in Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog wet food.

Perfect food for my dogsBy Trudy, Wednesday 6 May 2026Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog - 7kg
These kibbles are perfect for all three of my little dogs. They respond really well to them, their digestion is excellent, and their coats shine like mirrors. And no more allergic reactions! The treats are just as good — they absolutely love them! In short, it couldn’t be better.

Great kibblesBy Nicole Leliaert, Wednesday 6 May 2026Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog - 7kg
My little Neil had a lot of skin allergies and itching. Since he’s been eating these kibbles on the vet’s advice, he’s improved enormously! He also loves the kibbles and always wants more than he’s really allowed :). I only order this product now.

Very high-quality, tasty food for dogs with allergies – my dog absolutely loves the kibble, and her skin irritations disappeared after just two weeks. She’s got a shiny coat again! In terms of price, quality, and taste, it’s the best one from all our tests 🐾

Top choiceBy Jacques, Wednesday 6 May 2026Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dog - 7kg
Our Toni has been eating this for months after a serious allergic reaction to the wrong proteins. Since she’s been eating this (with pleasure) together with the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic wet food, she’s maintained a healthy weight, has loads of energy and her digestion is just as it should be. The weight and feeding guidelines are also clearly laid out on the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dry food bags, including how much wet food to add.
