Royal Canin Kitten
At around 4 months of age, kittens' growth rate may slow down, but they become increasingly active. During this period, kittens need an adapted level of the right nutrients to support the development of their bones, muscles, organs, immune system and nervous system. It also will not be long before they develop 30 adult teeth.
Royal Canin Kitten has been specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of kittens during growth. This formula is suitable for kittens aged 4 to 12 months, a life stage accompanied by significant physical and behavioural changes.
This tailor-made food contains adapted amounts of protein, minerals and vitamins, among other things, matched to kittens' increased energy requirements and to support the growth of their bones and muscles. In addition, nutrients such as vitamins C and E support the development of a healthy immune system. These antioxidants have been shown to stimulate a greater quantity and faster increase of antibodies after vaccination.
Royal Canin Kitten is also enriched with omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) to support brain development and help promote healthy vision. Thanks to a combination of prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, Royal Canin Kitten also helps support a healthy balance in the intestinal flora for good digestion. The kibble shape is also specially designed for kittens' small jaws.
Did you know that kittens' nutritional needs change as they grow? At the age of 12 months, they need food specifically adapted to the needs of an adult cat. We therefore recommend switching to Royal Canin products for adult cats at that point.
Royal Canin Kitten combines well with Royal Canin Kitten in Jelly - Cat Food or Royal Canin Kitten in Gravy - Cat Food.

My kitten had different food when he came from the shelter. I switched to Royal Canin dry and wet food and now she eats everything. Her stools are firm now too! A happy kitten and owner here!
