Told to buy this from our vet with our dog being over weight got the small tins just in case she hated this but she is very eager to eat it and she is losing weight. Still begging for scraps but not as much Pleased that the weight is coming off so it is proving worth the purchase. Always had royal canin. Not the cheapest but not wasted either.

Target Weight
The target weight is determined by the breed and the individual dog. The optimal weight loss is around 1-3% per week (depending on amount of additional weight, and gender). When the target weight has been reached, your pet can be prescribed Weight Control (Stage 2), or Weight & Osteo, in order to maintain the optimal weight. Divide the daily amount over two meals.
