The Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Harness is an all-in-one harness for dogs that are active in warm conditions or during hot days. The harness uses clever evaporative cooling, where water retained in the fabric gradually evaporates to draw heat away from the body. This provides a pleasant cooling effect during walks and adventures in sunlit conditions.

The harness consists of three layers: an outer layer that reflects heat and promotes evaporation, an absorbent middle layer that retains water, and a breathable lining that ensures comfort against the skin. Thanks to its practical three-strap design, the harness fits snugly and stays in place during movement. With six adjustment points, you can easily customize a perfect fit. The padded handle on top provides extra control and allows you to aid your dog over obstacles. There are three attachment points for the leash, including an aluminium V-ring on the back and an attachment on the chest for additional steering. Reflective details enhance visibility in low light, and there is a loop for attaching a light.

What if the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Harness does not fit?

You can check whether the product fits by taking it out of the packaging and holding it next to your pet. If it has come into contact with your pet, you cannot return the product for hygiene reasons. Should we find upon return that the product is stained, worn, contains hair, smells foul or has been washed, it will not be returned to you. Instead, it will benefit a local charity (animal shelter). Due to frequent encounters with products not returned in new condition, we must unfortunately enforce these rules for fitting and/or returning.
