SANIMED Senior is a complete food for older dogs.

In ageing dogs, it's important to maintain condition and minimise the loss of bodily functions. The nutrients in SANIMED Senior are carefully balanced to make it suitable for all dog breeds.

SANIMED Senior is developed to promote a long and healthy life. It lowers the risk of most common causes of natural death or euthanasia, such as cancer, musculoskeletal disorders, kidney and liver failure, heart problems and dementia. Thanks to the high quality ingredients, this food is easily digestible, and the liver and kidneys are protected by the lower protein content.

Dementia

Dementia is the term for age-related behavioural disorders. Disorientation, soiling, altered sleep patterns, sudden aggressiveness, reduced spatial awareness and reduced social contact can all be symptoms of dementia. There is a scientifically proven link between the reduction of Vitamin E in the brain and the onset of dementia in older dogs. In order to counteract dementia, SANIMED Senior contains increased levels of Vitamin E.

The added fatty acids reduce the risk of cancer, joint disease and kidney failure. As dogs age, they absorb fewer omega-3 fatty acids, so additional fatty acids are included to compensate.

Target age:

• Small breeds: from 8 years old
• Medium-sized breeds: from 7 years old
• Large breeds: from 6 years old
