SoftE Smart Collar

Ik had verwacht dat deze halsband langer en korter kon worden afhankelijk van de noodzaak. Uiteindelijk bleek het gewoon een standaard model te zijn, niet flexibel zoals in de advertentie beloofd werd. Bovendien was hij zelfs voor normaal gebruik te kort.

The collar is comfortable for the cat to wear because it’s soft and flexible. The downside is that hair sticks to the fabric a lot. After four days, our cat managed to damage the fabric by licking it (of course), causing the filling to come out. If we hadn’t noticed, he could have swallowed it. So unfortunately, it’s only suitable for one-time use. Because of this, I find the price-to-quality ratio poor.

Received on 16 Oct, put it on in the evening. My cat has now been wearing the collar for 1.5 days and it’s starting to fluff up, flips over too easily so the collar doesn’t stay upright, which means the cat can still reach the spots to lick because the material is soft and also quickly becomes fuzzy. We chose this SoftE smart collar because a hard plastic collar (which we’ve had for years) is more restrictive when lying down, etc. We do not recommend this collar at all; in fact, we discourage it if you want to really prevent your cat from reaching the areas to lick.

The cap is quite nice for a cap, fairly soft but still prevents access to the wound. Unfortunately, it comes off very quickly; the string threaded through it doesn’t stay in place properly. Next time it’s needed, I’ll use a regular shoelace instead, hoping that will hold better.

The collar is soft, not too big, but also not too small, and very animal-friendly. Our cat accepted it immediately.
