Specific Heart & Kidney Support CKD - Hydrolysed is a complete dietary food for adult dogs with chronic kidney insufficiency, with additional focus on heart health. The carefully balanced formula contains easily digestible, hydrolysed salmon proteins and an adjusted level of protein and minerals with a limited amount of phosphorus, suitable for dogs with reduced kidney function. The increased content of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) from fish oil supports heart health and healthy blood pressure. Added potassium citrate and urine-alkalising properties help reduce the formation of calcium oxalate, urate, and cystine crystals. The inclusion of fermentable fibres, including beet pulp and FOS, along with AuraGuard also supports a healthy gut flora. Due to the hydrolysed protein source, this food is also suitable for dogs with food intolerances or sensitive digestion.

Use

Specific Heart & Kidney Support CKD - Hydrolysed is suitable for long-term use in adult dogs with kidney and/or heart issues. The daily amount depends on body weight, condition, and individual needs of the dog. Divide the daily portion into at least two meals and always ensure there is plenty of fresh drinking water.

Use of this dietary food should always take place in consultation with your veterinarian. Regular monitoring of kidney and heart function is advised.
