Tetra Complete Substrate is designed for setting up new freshwater aquariums. The concentrated mixture with a long-lasting effect provides plants with the right nutritional base from the beginning. Thanks to natural micronutrients and minerals, including iron, plants develop a robust root structure and a deep green colour. The combination of black peat with a high humus content and selected quartz sand ensures a stable soil environment, good water circulation, and rapid rooting. The substrate does not contain nitrates and phosphates. For optimal plant care, Tetra recommends additional root and leaf fertilisation and a stable lighting schedule of 10 to 12 hours per day. Direct sunlight is not recommended as it can promote algae growth.

2.5 kg is suitable for aquariums of 50 to 60 litres, and 5 kg is suitable for aquariums of 100 to 120 litres.
