Works great against mud and tall grass, but they do slip off the dog's paws quite quickly; you need to push the shoe back into place several times. They are not waterproof at all! For example, if it rains and you walk mostly on paths and a bit through grass, the shoe unfortunately gets soaking wet! Otherwise, a top shoe for sore paws and damaged pads. I've tested lots of shoe brands, and this Trixie one is the best for me. I can only give 3 stars because they aren't waterproof! Otherwise, it would be 5 stars!

I have a GSD girl of normal build. These booties fit her front paws (however they do tend to slip a wee bit), but are probably the best ones Ive tried so far! Sadly l feel that they are no use for her rear paws as they just arent quite long enough and will definitely fall off! The boots need to go over and fasten above the rear hock to stay on!

The boots were well made but much shorter than I expected. Thought they woud reach to dogs hock but no chance. Also too tight to fit over splint. Company very understanding and helpful.
