Hypoallergenic IRD from TROVET is a hypoallergenic diet for cats. The recipe for this food is based on a single animal protein source: insects. IRD contains the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly as a sustainable protein source. This makes the food highly suitable for cats that have a food intolerance or allergy to specific proteins. An intolerance or allergy can lead to skin or gastrointestinal problems. The use of a hypoallergenic food such as Trovet IRD can reduce the risk of these problems. Insects are rarely used in pet foods. Rice has been used as a carbohydrate source in this food.

Instructions for use

The recommended use for TROVET Hypoallergenic IRD (Insect) is 3 to 8 weeks for food allergies and intolerances in the first instance. If the hypersensitivity symptoms disappear, Hypoallergenic (Insect) can be used as a complete diet food for an unlimited period of time.
