TROVET Hypoallergenic RRD (Rabbit) Cat - Tin has been specifically developed for use after diagnosis and under supervision of a veterinarian. Before you can purchase this product, please confirm the following:
Your pet has been examined by a veterinarian, who has recommend this product after diagnosis.
You understand and agree that you should seek the advice of your veterinarian regarding the use of this product at least every 6 months.
You understand and agree that if your pet's condition should deteriorate in any way, you should immediately seek the advice of your veterinarian.
Food hypersensitivity means that your cat has an excessive or allergic reaction to certain ingredients in food. This can be treated with special diet foods which do not contain the ingredients that cause reactions in your cat. A food hypersensitivity diagnosis is made based on the results of an elimination diet. Such a diet is sometimes referred to as hypoallergenic, and includes a single protein and a single carbohydrate source, which are known to rarely cause hypersensitive reactions.
TROVET Hypoallergenic RRD (Rabbit) Cat
TROVET Hypoallergenic RRD - Rabbit Rice Diet contains a single protein source (rabbit) and a single carbohydrate source (rice). The diet should be used for 3-8 weeks, and should be your cat's only source of food. The diet prevents food allergies or food intolerances that appear in the form of skin complaints and/or gastrointestinal problems. Not all symptoms will immediately reduce or disappear. Skin conditions usually improve slowly over time. If symptoms decrease or disappear entirely, a food allergy can be diagnosed.TROVET Hypoallergenic RRD (Rabbit) Cat also contains all of the essential nutrients in optimal amounts.
TROVET Hypoallergenic RRD (Rabbit) Cat is also suitable for kittens with these disorders.
Not suitable for
Cats with a hypersensitivity to rabbit proteins.
Use
The recommended use is initially 3 to 8 weeks. If hypersensitivity symptoms disappear, Hypoallergenic (Rabbit) can be used indefinitely. It is important to strictly observe the prescribed diet.

My cat is suffering with allergies and needed a hypoallergenic diet. She was losing weight so much on a previous gastrointestinal one. It’s been around 2 weeks and she can’t get enough of this. Constantly asking for more and her symptoms have improved slightly which leads me to hope she will improve even more in the weeks to come so definitely worth the money. Thank you

I bought this and the dry food for my 21 year old cat has had IBD for a long time and pancreatitis more recently.
We were hoping this might put an end to his several months-long bout of diarrhea. I have seen some improvements after 3.5 weeks but it hasn't been a miracle cure yet. They do say it take 3-8 weeks so we'll keep going.
Luckily he loves this stuff, as does my younger cat. I know some reviewers didn't like the consistency but I always mix a bit of hot water from the kettle into their food as it's a way to get some extra hydration in whilst also making the smell more tempting. My 2 cats can't get enough of this food, and they both have a tendency to be a bit picky!

I am totally gutted. Neither of my cats will eat this food. One of my cats is allergic to fish & chicken, it's very different to get get food that she likes and that is suitable for her
