Versele-Laga NutriBird G14 Original Pellets are extruded pellets for large parakeets. The scientifically formulated composition contains all essential nutrients. As each pellet has the same composition, selective eating behaviour is prevented. The feed is based on grains, fruits and peanuts. Thanks to the addition of natural clay minerals and prebiotics, the intestinal flora are supported. The composition also contributes to a healthy plumage and strong bones. The feed is recommended by veterinarians and used by bird parks and breeders.

Use

For smaller bird species, such as canaries, exotic birds, native birds and budgerigars, it is recommended to prepare the transition to pellets gradually. At this stage, the aim is not to force the birds to eat pellets. The goal is for them to recognise the pellets as part of their diet. For 2 to 3 weeks, you give the usual seed mix, supplemented with approximately 10% pellets.

For parrots and large parakeets, this preparation phase is not necessary.

Feeding guidelines

Provide freely. For extra variety, you can supplement up to 20% of the daily ration with fruit, vegetables, NutriBird or other snacks. Replace feed regularly and always provide fresh drinking water.

Grains, nuts (shelled peanuts 10%), vegetable by-products, vegetables, seeds (5%), oils and fats, minerals, fruits (apple 5%*), sugars, vegetable protein extracts, MOS, yucca.
