The Versele-Laga African Parrot Mix is an enriched seed mix with extra nutrients, specially made for all African parrots such as African Grey Parrots, Jardine's parrots and Senegal parrots. This basic food contains 8% VAM pellets (vitamins, amino acids and minerals) and a highly varied mix of seeds and grains, to keep your bird in top condition.

This food has been composed in consultation with the scientific team from Loro Parque and is used in the park as a basic food for all large macaws, Moluccas and black cockatoos. The two parties work together in research projects and Versele-Laga is the exclusive manufacturer of the seed mixes that are also used in the park and on the breeding station on Tenerife.

Use

You can provide the food freely. Refresh the food regularly and make sure that the bird always has plenty of fresh drinking water available.

Striped sunflower seeds, white sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, oats, Maxi V.A.M. pellets, broken rice, wheat, maize, buckwheat, barley, milo, hulled peanuts, pumpkin seeds, dari, cedar nuts, carob, canary seed, puffed wheat, yellow millet, oyster shells, puffed maize, rosehip, red chillies.
