Versele-Laga Prestige Loro Parque - Amazone Parrot Mix
All Prestige Premium Loro Parque mixes are composed with a highly varied offer of seeds and grains. The Amazone Parrot Mix can be used as a basic food for South American parrots such as Amazons, Pionus parrots, Caiques, Macaws & Aratingas. Thanks to the added VAM pellets (vitamins, amino acids and minerals), extra vitamins, amino acids and minerals are added.
This food has been composed in consultation with the scientific team from Loro Parque and is used in the park as a basic food for all large macaws, Moluccas and black cockatoos. The two parties work together in research projects and Versele-Laga is the exclusive manufacturer of the seed mixes that are also used in the park and on the breeding station on Tenerife.
Use
You can provide the food freely. Refresh the food regularly and make sure that the bird always has plenty of fresh drinking water available.

Thanks to the addition of vitamins, amino acids and minerals, this diet helps support vitality and resistance. It also contributes to a healthy, well-groomed plumage. The coarsely ground oyster shells provide a source of easily absorbable calcium, which supports strong bones and a strong beak. The composition is balanced and suitable as complete daily food.

Feeding guidelines
May be given freely. For extra variety, you can supplement up to 20% of the daily portion with fruit, vegetables, Nutribird Treats, Prestige Sprouting Seeds, Prestige Exotic or Prestige Sticks. Replace feed regularly and always provide fresh drinking water. Simultaneous oral use with macrolides should be avoided.
