Vetality Hypoallergenic Cat Wet

My cat has an IBD diagnosis… tried all hyperallergenic wet foods… he sniffs it and walks away… no interest… this was my last straw… I put it in front of him and… gone in the blink of an eye!! Hopefully it stays that way!!

For my very sensitive elderly cat, 15 years old, this wet food is the perfect choice at this stage of life. He was previously given Vetality Hypoallergenic kibble for a while, which is also very good, but in the long term he probably had difficulty digesting the rice as a carbohydrate source; the wet food is made entirely of white fish, which he digests well and loves.

My 12-year-old cat has suffered from vomiting, excessive grooming, and intense itching with hair loss. The vet couldn't find anything wrong and we've been to the vet three times with countless products tried. She has become more relaxed and sleeps more like my other cat. She itches less, has only vomited once, and has been on wet food for just 13 days. I had been feeding dry food for a couple of months before. So I’m hopeful for even better results in the long term.

For my ragdoll Kata (male), switching to Vetality took a bit of getting used to. One can of 'Cat Wet' a day is enough. She also gets dry food from the same brand. Because she is ill, she eats sparingly from both products. But I’m just glad that she’s eating at all.

I assume this is a top-quality product. The internist at the MCD Medical Centre for Animals in Amsterdam prescribed hypoallergenic food. So it was a switch from the food he always ate to only this. So no snacks, etc. That was quite a challenge. He eats it, but not enthusiastically. That’s probably due partly to the product, but mainly to the cat herself, who is suffering from a lymph node condition.
