Vitalbix PsylliumMash
Vitalbix PsylliumMash is a healthy psyllium mash for horses, specially developed as a (preventive) sand treatment. It contains no less than 50% psyllium seed and supports the removal of sand from the intestines. Thanks to the timothy grass base, PsylliumMash is easy to digest and fits within a diet low in sugar and starch. The mash contains no lucerne, cereals, soya or added sugars, is very tasty and is ready to feed within 2 to 5 minutes.

Suitable for
Horses and ponies from 6 months of age.
Usage
Mix Vitalbix PsylliumMash with water and feed the mash immediately after preparation. Do not leave the prepared mash standing for long, as the psyllium seeds continue to swell. Vitalbix PsylliumMash is very tasty and is generally eaten well even by fussy horses. Does your horse still need to get used to the taste? Then start with a smaller amount during the first few days and gradually increase the dosage.
- Mix with 1 to 3 parts water for a firm mash
- Mix with 4 parts water for a thinner mash
- Use cold or lukewarm water, not boiling water
- Leave the mash for 2 to 5 minutes, stir well and feed immediately
The mash supports the removal of sand from the intestines, but it does not prevent new sand from being ingested. Good management of feeding and grazing therefore remains essential.

Important
It is important not to give Vitalbix PsylliumMash at the same time as other medicines or supplements. Psyllium fibres have a strong absorptive capacity and can therefore affect the absorption of these products. For this reason, preferably give products with psyllium fibres at least 1 - 2 hours before or 2 - 3 hours after administering other medication or health products.
