I don't think it helps, my border collie still pulls and I still have a lot of pain in my back and arms.

Product information
WAW Shock Absorber
Continuous pulling while walking can cause pain for both you and your dog. Fortunately, the WAW Shock Absorber offers a solution by reducing the pulling force on the lead by as much as 40%. Ordinary dog leads can cause injuries to your dog during sudden jerks. The WAW even protects growing puppies when their bodies are still vulnerable and walks can be quite turbulent. What really sets the WAW apart is its progressive elastic composition of high-quality plastics. Unlike ordinary elastic bands, the WAW remains sturdy and never loses its shape.

Far too stiffBy Bab, Sunday 9 June 2024WAW Shock Absorber - L, 16-25 kg
Bought for my Labradoodle teenager, who sometimes suddenly spots something very interesting and dashes off towards it. The dog weighs 21 kilos, but there’s hardly any difference whether the anti-shock part is attached or not, it’s that stiff. I’m using it on a fixed lead.

Bought for my Labradoodle teenager, who sometimes suddenly spots something very interesting and bolts towards it. The dog weighs 21 kilos, but there’s hardly any difference whether the anti-shock part is on or not—it’s that stiff. I’m using it with a fixed line.
