Yakka’s Churpi Turmeric
Yakka's Churpi Turmeric is a distinctive chew snack for dogs, inspired by the traditional preparation method from the Himalayas. The snack is made from the milk of yaks, a type of cattle that lives high in the mountains, combined with cow's milk. Turmeric has been added to this variant, giving the snack its own character. It is prepared in the traditional way. First, the milk is curdled and the water is separated from it. The curdled milk is then pressed in jute and smoked. This smoking process gives the chew snack its characteristic flavour. After preparation, the Yakka's are cleaned and undergo a food quality check in a laboratory. With a crude protein content of at least 60%, Yakka's Churpi Turmeric is a protein-rich treat. The addition of turmeric makes this variant a tasty and spicy alternative to the original Yakka's chew sticks.
