    Zymoral Pancreatic Powder

Zymoral pancreatic powder is a nutritional supplement containing natural digestive enzymes. Zymoral supports the digestion of your dog or cat. It contains highly digestible ingredients and has a low fat content.

    Properties

    • Supports digestion in dogs and cats
    • Contains highly digestible ingredients
    • Low fat content
    • The powder contains natural digestive enzymes

    Pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is a condition of the pancreas that can be clinically divided into acute and chronic pancreatitis. Pancreatitis occurs frequently in dogs. Chronic pancreatitis can result in damage to pancreatic tissue and disturbances or cessation of exocrine pancreatic secretion. In exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats is insufficient. Pancreatic powder can replace the impaired enzyme production of the affected pancreas.

    Highly digestible diet

Dogs that have survived an acute attack of pancreatitis should be placed on a highly digestible diet supplemented with Zymoral pancreatic powder. In cases of chronic pancreatitis, this treatment should be continued for life. It is recommended to feed the animals three times daily with a highly digestible diet containing high-quality proteins and carbohydrates and a low fat content.

    Administration and dosage

Zymoral pancreatic powder must be administered with every meal. It is important that the animal receives food regularly (preferably three times daily). The measuring scoop has two sides: 3 g and 6 g. The recommended dosage is:

    • Dog: 1 measuring scoop of 3 g with each meal
    • Cat: 1/4 – 3/4 measuring scoop of 3 g with each meal

The dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the pancreatic insufficiency and the weight of the animal. In cases of chronic insufficiency, the dosage may be increased until the desired result is achieved.

    Zymoral Pancreas Powder - 240g

Unfortunately my cat can detect it mixed with food, with treats and with marmite and would rather starve than eat any of the above. An expensive trial! Would really help if the powder was tasteless.
