Mara van Brussel-Broere is a companion animal veterinarian and has been part of Vetsend since 2018 as a veterinary expert and point of contact. With her broad practical experience, she advises pet owners daily with practical tips and reliable medical guidance. At Vetsend, Mara focuses on answering customer questions, providing expert advice on health, behaviour and nutrition, and sharing her knowledge through informative blogs and articles. Her mission: helping pet owners keep their animals healthy and happy.

Mara graduated in 2008 as a companion animal veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University. During her studies, she focused on treating dogs, cats, rabbits and rodents. After graduation, she gained extensive hands-on experience as a practising veterinarian. Since 2018, Mara has been affiliated with Vetsend as a veterinarian and veterinary advisor, where she applies her experience daily to guide and advise pet owners.
Mara is registered in the Veterinary Register.
To keep her knowledge up to date, Mara participates annually in various training courses in the fields of animal health, nutrition and behaviour, ensuring she can always provide pet owners with current and reliable advice.
