The outside is made from 100% cotton in a sturdy denim finish. The coat has a comfortable polyester fleece lining and a water-repellent finish.
Sizes
To choose the right size, it is important to measure your dog's back length, neck circumference and chest circumference. In the article How do I know what size my pet needs? we give tips on how best to measure your pet.
Are you unsure between two sizes? Then choose the larger size for a comfortable fit.
- Neck circumference: Measure around the base of the neck. Do not measure too high, as this may cause you to choose a size that is too small.
- Chest circumference: Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the measuring tape straight and snug-fitting.

What if the Carhartt Denim Insulated Dog Chore Coat does not fit?
To check whether the product fits, you may remove it from the packaging and hold it next to your pet. This allows you to check whether it fits. For hygiene reasons, you may not return the product if it has come into contact with your pet. If, upon return, we find that the product is stained, has been worn, contains hair, smells dirty or has been washed, the product will not be returned to you. It will then be donated to a charity (local animal shelter). As we are often faced with products that are not returned in new condition, unfortunately we have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning.
