  • Nice cream

    CoolPets Sunblock Crème

I was a bit sceptical about sunscreen for my cats, but after reading about the risks for white ears, I decided to buy this ointment anyway. It’s a pleasant cream that spreads well and absorbs quickly. Very economical to use (though I only apply it to their ears). It’s also fragrance-free, which I really like – and I think the cats do too. According to the packaging, I only need to apply it in the morning and it works all day, which is reassuring and gives me peace of mind when the cats stay outside longer. I’m happy with it and hope this way I can prevent sunburn and, even worse, cancer on their ears.

  • Greasy coat

    CoolPets Sunblock Crème

It probably does its job quite well. I use it to protect my dachshund from the sun. Since she has a thin coat and no undercoat, I also apply it to her body, trying to rub it into the skin as well as possible. However, it leaves her coat quite greasy and doesn’t absorb, which I find a bit disappointing.
