Dr Ann's Kidney Support is a supplement for dogs and cats to support the kidneys. For example, support can be crucial in case of kidney problems. A supplement can provide support even if the cause of kidney problems is unknown. In addition, in cases of chronic kidney failure, kidney support is very important.

How to recognise kidney problems in dogs and cats?

You can only diagnose kidney problems from blood and urine tests. However, some symptoms are common in kidney problems:

•           Drinking a lot and urinating a lot
•           Poor appetite/nausea (recognisable by smacking and/or drooling)
•           Slimming

How does Dr Ann's Kidney Support work?

The supplement contains a rich combination of active ingredients that optimally support the kidneys.

•           Calcium carbonate binds phosphates in the gastrointestinal tract, reducing their absorption. Phosphates are harmful to the kidneys.
•           Chitosan captures uremic waste products in addition to phosphates. Accumulation of uremic waste products is a significant cause of nausea.  
•           Solidago virgaurea (Common goldenrod) helps maintain proper fluid balance and provides kidney support.
•           Parsley extract boosts urine production. This is less likely to cause the formation of kidney deposits such as kidney stones.
•           Fennel extract stimulates kidney function and contributes to proper hydration.
•           Omega 3 fatty acids contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

Instructions for use

For oral administration. It is possible to mix the powder with food or a snack. To prevent atomisation of the powder, it can also be dissolved in a small amount of lukewarm water. The initial duration of use is up to six months. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before starting or extending the duration of use and before exceeding the recommended quantity. Dr Ann's Kidney Support should not replace a completely balanced diet. Fresh drinking water should always be available.

Calcium (as carbonate) 46.25mg, chitosan 80mg, Solidago virgaurea (as Solidago virgaurea extract 20:1) 60mg, Petroselenium crispum folium extract (20:1) 17.5mg, Foeniculum Vulgare extract (10:1) 2mg, omega 3 fatty acids (from Vana® -Sana EPA/DHA 9/6) 10mg. Additives (per kg): potato starch (649g/kg). Analytical constituents: crude protein 1%, crude ash 6%, crude fat 4%, crude fibre 8%.
