The Exo Terra Snake Bedding is a biodegradable and heat-treated reptile substrate, specially developed for the needs of snakes. It is made from sustainable wood and is completely free of toxic oils and resins, making it safe even for the most sensitive species. Thanks to its extremely soft structure, the substrate provides a comfortable and natural living environment. It has a high absorption rate (3:1) and quick-drying properties, making maintenance simple and hygienic. The unique wood fibre texture allows snakes to form natural nesting burrows, similar to their shelters in the wild. The substrate is dust-free and odour-reducing, contributing to a cleaner and healthier terrarium. For optimal hygiene, it is recommended to remove soiled areas daily and fully replace the substrate every 8 weeks (or sooner if necessary).
