If a dog or cat's teeth are neglected, the animal may even lose teeth and molars. More seriously, your dog's health may be put at risk by dental problems. Plaque, also known as dental plaque, is a barely visible layer that constantly forms on the teeth. It consists of food residues, mucus and bacteria. If it is not removed, plaque calcifies into tartar. You can help remove plaque yourself, but tartar can only be removed by your vet.

Orozyme Canine Tooth Gel

Orozyme Canine Enzymatic Tooth Gel helps prevent the build-up of plaque, tartar and bad breath. The tooth gel is suitable for dogs and cats and has a malt flavour.

Using Orozyme tooth gel for dogs or cats helps to:

• prevent plaque build-up
• prevent tartar build-up
• combat bad breath

Brushing instructions

For brushing, your dog or cat's mouth does not need to be fully open. In most cases, it is sufficient to lift the lip and then clean all visible outer surfaces of the teeth and molars. Your dog or cat cleans the inside of the teeth and molars itself with the tongue. Some of the teeth and molars in the upper jaw rub parts of the teeth and molars in the lower jaw clean. The more often you brush, the more quickly your dog or cat will get used to it, and of course the better it is for your pet's teeth. However, to help prevent tartar, you do not need to brush more than once or twice a week.
