But I still have to brush the teeth of my older dogs. You do notice a difference if you don’t use it. At first, they didn’t want to drink water because it has a flavour. But now they’ve got used to it. It is quite expensive, but the vet’s bill was much higher.

I bought this product for our cats because they are ex-strays and not always easy to handle. Besides, the oldest is about 12 years old and is starting to have dental issues when eating. After consulting our vet, we bought and tried this product. We deliberately added it only to one of the three water bowls in the house, and all three cats drank from it. So, in terms of smell and taste, it seemed fine... But shortly afterwards, all three suffered from diarrhoea and severe stomach cramps after just one drink(!). Nothing else was changed in their diet, etc. I read the label again carefully and saw it contains citric acid. In principle, this is toxic to cats, although the product probably contains it in very low concentration to avoid irritation while maintaining effectiveness. But apparently, it is still too much for our cats. After consulting the vet again, we discarded the product. (The vet was less subtle: "Just clean your sink with it if you have limescale.") Shame, it sounded like a great solution to support a cleaner dental condition but causes too severe side effects here.

I've searched everywhere for something really effective for my dogs' breath and against tartar. I was a bit sceptical, thinking it might just be a waste of money. But no, it's not. It works wonders. And my dog’s breath has improved. So, thank you so much!
