Puur Glucosamine Basic

This food supplement allows your dog or cat to move smoothly. If your pet is very rigid or stiff, we recommend Puur Glucosamine Extra.

Key features per ingredient:

• Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulphate are present in this product in highly absorbable form and are important for particular cartilage and the building of connective tissue. They are the most important ingredients for the production of cartilage and synovial fluid, providing resilience and lubrication in the joints, which eases movement.
• Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an essential nutrient for the joints. It ensures the elasticity of cartilage, tendons and joint capsules. MSM is also necessary for the formation of chondroitin sulphates, which are important for building cartilage.
• Magnesium, (as citrate) is important for healthy bones and works as a muscle relaxant.
• Vitamin C is present in its less acidic form, is gentler on the stomach and is absorbed easier. Vitamin C has an anti-oxidative effect and is important for producing collagen, the main component of connective tissue in tendons, ligaments and joint capsules.
• Vitamin B6 is an important co-factor for Magnesium. It also has a positive influence on the energy balance of muscles and the condition of the membrane.

Dosage 

Please note! The included scoops are different sizes. Pay close attention to which packaging is easier to use. 

Administration

Puur Glucosamine Basic can be added to your pet's food. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the bowl. Keep an eye on your animal's reaction to the product, it may be necessary to double the dose in the beginning. As soon as effects are visible, give your animal as low a dose as possible.

Is it not possible to spread out the daily recommended dosage over multiple times a day? It's no problem to give the daily recommended dosage at once. Keep in mind that the desired result may take a while, even a couple of weeks. 

It's important to keep your animal moving during treatment. As soon as it's possible, take your animal on short walks. Prevent sudden and short tuns and stopping abruptly.

• 100 g packaging: Per gram: glucosamine 276 mg, MSM 136 mg, chondroitin sulphate 123 mg, vitamin C 68 mg, magnesium 68 mg, vitamin B6 1.4 mg.
• 300 g packaging: Per 5 grams: glucosamine 815 mg, MSM 680 mg, chondroitin sulphate 365 mg, vitamin C 340 mg, magnesium 340 mg, vitamin B6 7 mg.
• 600 g packaging: Per 5 grams: glucosamine 815 mg, MSM 680 mg, chondroitin sulphate 365 mg, vitamin C 340 mg, magnesium 340 mg, vitamin B6 7 mg.

Analytical constituents

Crude protein 9.90%, crude fibre 0.64%, crude fat 0.54%, crude ash 12.4%, sodium 1.05%.

The composition of dog/cat and horse is identical, only the contents are higher because a horse requires a significantly higher dosage. However, you can also use the 600 g version for your dog or cat. 

Storage

Keep out of direct sunlight and store in a dry place with temperatures between 5 and 20 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children. Expiration date is mentioned on the label and packaging.
