Usage

In acute conditions, feed for at least 3 weeks, as the intestine needs at least this time to recover. In case of digestive problems, divide the daily amount over several small portions, as this places minimal strain on the gastrointestinal tract. As Royal Canin Gastrointestinal is a dietetic food, it is recommended to give this food only on the advice of your vet. When switching to this food, make the change gradually over a period of 7 days.

Not suitable for (contraindications)

• Dogs with (a history of) pancreatitis
• Dogs with hyperlipidaemia (increased concentrations of cholesterol and/or triglycerides)
• Dogs with Lymphangiectasia
• Dogs with hepatic encephalopathy
• Conditions where a low fat content is indicated
