TROVET Hepatic HLD Cat
TROVET Hepatic HLD Cat is a complete, highly digestible dietetic food for cats to support liver function in cases of (chronic) liver insufficiency. The diet contains increased levels of lipotropic substances, including L-carnitine, lecithin and choline. These nutrients contribute to normal fat metabolism and support the liver in its important role in fat metabolism.

Suitable for
Cats of all ages with liver insufficiency or when liver function support is required.
Not suitable for
Cats with hepatic lipidosis.
Directions for use
The recommended period of use is initially up to 6 months in cases of (chronic) liver insufficiency. If your veterinarian recommends extending the feeding period, TROVET Hepatic HLD Cat can be fed as a complete dietetic food for an unlimited period.

Good product, let down by customer service at vetsend. It's not available at the moment, but they didn't notify us for several weeks (and then only because we chased it up), by which time it was too late to obtain any elsewhere. They've also stopped providing a service to the UK.

Pleased to find this food as none of the main brands seem to produce wet hepatic cat food now. It does look and smell different to regular cat food and is very 'solid' in texture, but we've found that our (very picky) cat will eat it if we mix it thoroughly with a little warm water. Quite pricey but worth it.
