Vitalbix Pure Lucerne+
Vitalbix Pure Lucerne+ is a high-quality lucerne for horses and ponies, enriched with 3% cold-pressed linseed oil. The feed contains both the coarser lucerne stems and the nutrient-rich leaves and is free from molasses and other additives. Thanks to its high fibre content, Pure Lucerne+ stimulates chewing and saliva production, which contributes to healthy digestion. In addition, the lucerne contains high-quality amino acids that play an important role in the development and maintenance of muscle mass. Also suitable as a supplement for horses with a sensitive stomach.

Usage
This lucerne can be fed on its own or mixed with concentrates or roughage (hay or haylage). The contents of a standard 1-litre feed scoop contain approximately 200 grams of Vitalbix Pure Lucerne+.

Important
Vitalbix Pure Lucerne+ naturally contains more calcium than phosphorus (16 grams calcium and 3 grams phosphorus per kg, ratio 5.3 : 1). When feeding 2 to 3 kg of Vitalbix Pure Lucerne+ per day to a horse weighing 500 to 600 kg, it is generally not necessary to add extra phosphorus-rich products such as linseed or wheat bran to the ration, provided the roughage also contains relatively much calcium and little phosphorus. With a daily amount of more than 3 kg, it is recommended to supplement the ration with a phosphorus-rich product or a phosphorus supplement.
