Mühldorfer Hay Cobs Medium are premium hay pellets for horses, made from a natural mix of more than 65 different meadow grasses and herbs. This provides a varied and fibre-rich base that contributes to good digestion and stimulates natural chewing activity. The hay cobs are free from grains, molasses, and added sugars, making them suitable for horses with metabolic issues or intolerances. As they are soaked before feeding, they are easy to eat and particularly suitable for older horses or those with dental problems. They can be used as a supplement to roughage or as a complete hay replacement when hay quality is insufficient or unavailable.

Usage
Mühldorfer Hay Cobs Medium must be soaked in water before feeding. Use a mixing ratio of 2 parts water to 1 part hay cobs. Soak for approximately 30 minutes in warm water or about 1 hour in cold water. The hay pellets contain no added vitamins or trace elements. To meet the daily requirements for vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, it is important to supplement the feed with a high-quality mineral supplement of your choice.
Feeding guidelines
The average daily amount is 0.5 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight when used as a partial roughage replacement, and approximately 1.3 kg per 100 kg body weight for full replacement.
